Enact Home is our solar and storage monitoring platform, designed to provide transparency to solar owners. Users can understand their system’s health and performance by monitoring key metrics.
Users can login to Enact Home by going to enact-systems.com/consumers and click the “Homeowner Login” at the top right.
After inputing your email and password, you have full access to Enact Home.
Our platform’s simple, intuitive design guides users though the platform.
The first visualization you will see displays your System Status. System Status displays whether your system is online or offline. If your system is offline, it could be do to a variety of reasons but could mean your system is no longer generating energy.
The Power Flow visualization displays how energy moves from your solar panels, home, power grid and storage battery, if applicable. The Power Flow is measured in kilowatts. Your storage battery’s state of charge will be displayed as a percentage.
The Percentage Paid Off the right of the Power Flow visualization. The Percentage Paid Off feature shows how your solar system is paying for itself by comparing total utility savings to the original cost of your solar system. The graphic shows a percentage, the original cost of your system and the estimated payback date.
When you scroll down, you will see other key graphics. The next one is Your Savings, which shows your utility savings in a green bar graph. Our visualization allows you to compare actual vs. estimated utility bill savings month by month. We include key solar savings metrics above the graph for you to see. If you want to see previous years’ savings, click on the year for the drop down menu and select the desired year.
Following Your Savings is the Your System bar graph, which is yellow. Your System shows the energy generation of your solar system and compares actual vs. estimated solar energy generation each month, over the year. We include key generation metrics above the graph for you to see. If you want to see previous years’ generation, click on the year for the drop down menu and select the desired year.
Scrolling past Your System, you will see the Your Consumption bar graph in blue. This bar graph compares estimated pre-solar and estimated current electricity consumption from the power grid. Your Consumption uses information from your solar estimate quote.
If you have a storage battery, you can scroll further down to see Your Battery: Charging and Discharging, and Your Battery: Performance and Status, respectively. Next to Your Battery: Charging and Discharging, will be your battery status which shows your battery’s level of charge as a percentage. The battery visualization will be a battery graphic, that will be red, yellow or green — depending on percentage charged.
